How to save money when you are working

How to save money when you are working?

It’s really easy to spend a lot of money; I’m sure some of you as probably saw this if not everyone. So what can you do to save a couple of hundred dollars to more than a thousand? These are simple tips that everyone can do daily. Bring a lunch to work:

If you bring a lunch every day or 3-4 times a week you will see that you will save a lot of money. Take two minutes to think about it, if you buy a lunch every day of the week it’s approximately 50 to 65 dollars a week at an average cost of 10$ per meal. So 50$ X 52 2 600$ for a year! You can save 2 600 and more every year this is the cost of a travel. If you make your own lunch it will be a lot cheaper because they will cost 1-2 $. If you are too bored from your sandwich you can make a larger quantity of your late dinner that way you will be able to bring some left overs the next day. This is what I do, and I love it that way I can eat a good dinner without spending too much.

Brink a cup of coffee to work:

If you love to take your coffee in the morning and have another one at your office brings a cup. A cup of coffee is almost 2$ so your everyday habit cost 104$ every year. Imagine if you drink 2-3 cup each day. 300 bucks only for coffer it’s really expensive, if you can cut that habit in half you will save more than you ever think. I’m sure you’re looking at the screen of your computer with a look of its only 2$, its nothing. Well remember if you save every penny you can at the end of the year your saving will be count by thousand.

Stop smoking:

Smoking… what a bad product to spend your money on! If you are smoking you’ve probably try to stop numerous time more than you can remember, but you still have a cigarette in your mouth. Why … well everyone know that cigarette are highly addictive and very expensive. In my area cigarette cost 8.50$ a pack of 25, if you smoke half a pack a day or a pack a day your habit is really expensive. A little of mathematic to scare the smoker? 8.50x 7= 60 bucks for a week if you smoke a pack a day. So after a year those cigarettes cost more than 3000$! I know it’s hard to stop but think of how much you can save by doing so. It’s worth the effort.

Go to your work with your bike or take the bus if you can:

Gas has become so expensive these days your best choice is your bike. Finding another way of transport cheaper can save you a lot of money. This is why I say that your bike can become your best friend if you live close to your work. It cost nothing and you will do some exercise a 2 in 1 deal. If it’s not for you try the bus, a bus pass is cheaper than what your car will cost you if you take it every day. Another way to save money on gas is to work from home. If you job offer telecommuting take it your gas cost will be cut to zero dollars.

Stay late and use the Internet.

You’re likely paying for high-speed Internet at home, but do you really need it? If you have access to the Web on a mobile device, you may be able to check your email, bank account and more quite easily from there. Instead of paying for it at home, make use of the free Internet available at work. Stay after-hours and do anything that you can’t conveniently complete on your phone. Many workplaces do reserve the right to look into your browser history, so be sure whatever you are looking at is work appropriate. You now have some tips that can help you save tons of money. It’s up to you if you will succeed and save that much money.
