For how long are you living in that lifestyle

A really important thing to consider too is.

How long are you living that lifestyle?

If you’ve been inactive for only a month or so you probably still have a good health, but if you had that lifestyle for over 10 years your health is much more affected, but you can’t look only on what is your lifestyle now; you need to look for a longer period of time. The other thing you need to take a look is. How long have you been inactive? I know a lot of people that think because they were active in a younger age that they don’t need to be now! It’s not because you’ve been active when you had 20 years old that you are good for life, if you have 40 years now it’s been more than 20 years that you didn’t exercise.

For this part of your path to a better lifestyle you will have to determine for how long you are living like that. When was the last time you were active? Not the last time you did some exercises for a week. You need to remember the last time you really had some active activities to your schedule for a period of more than 3 months. Why a minimum of three months? Because you want to determine the last time you were active on a regular basic, not for a week or so. The longer the period of activeness and the nearest in time the better this is.

If you’ve been in an inactive period of time of more than a year you should be cautious when you first start exercising because your body will take time to get used to your new way of living. Do you have an illness?

An illness can be very dangerous for you if you are not careful with it.

If you know that you have an illness you should go to your doctor and ask him/her if it’s safe to do the exercise you want. It can change with different exercise, for example; it may not be a good idea to run, but maybe you can swim with no problem for your safety and your health. It’s not worth the price if you do an activity that you shouldn’t do that can damage your health. You want to be healthier not becoming more ill.

The same goes with an injury.

If you have an injury you need to be really cautious, you don’t want to get your injury worse than what it was.
